Properties of dried broad beans:

Broad beans aid weight loss because they are rich in protein and plant fiber. They help maintain a healthy weight or lose weight . They are also energy-giving because they are rich in B vitamins (particularly B1, B2, and B3), which helps metabolize energy. They fight cholesterol , thanks to their fiber content, which helps stabilize blood cholesterol levels . They also fight anemia, thanks to their iron content.

An ally in the fight against Parkinson's disease , recent studies have shown that broad beans benefit sufferers of this terrible disease thanks to the presence of levodopa . Furthermore, thanks to vitamin A, they have the perfect properties for skin health.

Dried fava beans can be eaten year-round; they should be soaked before cooking. They can also be used for skincare; the inner skin of the pod brightens skin tone , and many grandmothers report using it to brighten their complexion.

Broad beans can also be used to make flour by simply toasting and grinding them ; this flour is perfect for creating hair masks and compresses ; simply mix a small amount of broad bean flour with warm milk and lemon juice until you obtain a paste-like mixture.

Use this mixture as a regenerating face mask to achieve luminous, blemish-free skin.
