Cantine Abitante is a young, family-run winery located in the heart of Lucania, in Francavilla in Sinni, a small town in the province of Potenza within the Pollino National Park. Giovanna Ciminelli and Filippo Abitante are the two young partners who run the winery, producing table wines from Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Ciliegiolo, Nero di Troia, Primitivo, Malvasia, and Chardonnay grape varieties. The winery, founded by Giovanna and Filippo, was established in 2012, and despite their young age, their wines offer excellent value and are sold in numerous Italian and international locations. Cantine Abitante is also committed to protecting the environment and constantly researching new technologies in the winemaking industry, using state-of-the-art machinery. They always maintain the integrity and quality of their products, avoiding the use of chemicals. Thanks to this measure, the concept of building one's own structure has diversified from traditional wine cellars.
