The 2018 Chardonnay White Wine from the La Rasenna Winery is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes.
CHARACTERISTICS: Chardonnay White Wine 2018
Vinification: cryomaceration with the skins at 4° for 12 hours, soft pressing and fermentation at 18° for 10 days.
Aging: In steel, followed by a further two months of maturation on the lees. After light clarification, the wine is left to mature until bottling before being released for sale. A further month of bottle aging follows.
Sensory analysis: Crystal clear, greenish yellow, fairly consistent. On the nose, it is intense and complex, fruity and floral; on the palate, it is decidedly dry, warm, and with good flavor. Balanced, harmonious, intense, and full-bodied.
Serving and pairing at the table: serve at 10-12° as an aperitif or with all the specialties of Lazio's maritime cuisine, from first courses or appetizers based on fish, vegetables and cheeses, to second courses of fish and shellfish.
